WHAT'S EATING CHRIST?

Coincidentally, I placed the final touches in this painting on Good Friday of 2003.
My unusual rendition of the torso similar to eaten up wood, according to some, is eerie.
Again, this is inspired by Cesar Legaspi's depiction of body forms.

Bro ang ganda nito! Gusto ko yung pagkakaayos ng ibat ibang mga hugis sa palibot ni Kristo.. pati na din yung mga gradients. Iniimadyin ko din kung may kulay siya, pero di yata dapat kasi malungkot ang tema.. Ang galing sir!
Grayscale (black & white) talaga ito nang ginawa ko. Madali lang kasi, tipid sa pinta.
