Call this a figure of speech:
oxymoron, irony, paradox, antithesis or whatever.
The girl is an orphan - one of the countless streetchildren frequenting
the plaza everyday, begging for coins and food.
It's a good thing she found her surrogate mother.
Good, at least, she found a mother - though a COLD one.
