OUR MARDI GRAS

OUR MARDI GRAS
Ateneo High School, Naga City
My ever favorite class performing their version of the
Bacolod Masskara Festival. They'll graduate now.
Hope they'll live up the Jesuit education, tradition, and spirit inculcated in them.

Meljohn, I did not know that the Bacolod Mascara festival was held during the Mardi Gras season. Shame on me. I grew up in Bacolod! Very nice city. Very friendly and gentle people.

I forgot. Even under the masks, they look like girls. How come Ateneo High has girls? The one behind UP Diliman used to be for boys only. Have they gone co-ed?

No, Bacolod's Masskara isn't on Mardi Gras which is close already. Yes, these are girls but in Ateneo de NAGA. The one in Katipunan is the only one left NOT coed. All Ateneos except in Manina have turned coed.
